I had the honour to help organise an event for a group of Japanese (recommendation from Elijah), and it was aWesOme! Haha! Considering that it is a school programme, and that they enjoyed themselves; it was a reward by itself. Despite the language barrier (or I thought there is), we were still able to communicate! It just proved one fact: Communication is not just about words. What a beauty! :)
Just yesterday, I went online to check for the movie timings for "Secret," and realised that I had watched most of the movies! It isn't really surprising because I have been frequently at the cinema for the past 2 months, but I was amazed with the kind of finance I had to have sustained that kind of living. Haha! Amazing. Haha.
As I watched "Secret," I was amazed by the girl's persistence. She kept her belief, even though everyone around her did not support her belief (some even despise her and labelled her 'crazy'), not even her own mother supported her. What gave her the strength to hold on to what she believe is true? Was it really just love and feelings?
When people questions your experience and your belief, do you stand up for it? On what ground do you stand on? How much are you willing to sacrifice for what you believe in? She was willing to give up all that she had, and to leave everything behind without looking back. Wow. Although she ended up travelling back time to her era, when she saw what she thought was a betrayal, she still loved him.
The movie ended really nicely, and I sat there, looking at the credits, with thoughts sinking in my head. I was thinking deep. Haha! :)
If I can time travel to the past, I would want to go back to 24 December 2000. I will want to see that day, through Your eyes. ;)
