I still choose to believe, and love You! :)

"In the valley I see You
On the mountain, Your magnitude
In Your hands, my life stands
With Your love, everything begins
What kind of love can I bring to You?
When all of You, You've sacrificed."

I had the honour to help organise an event for a group of Japanese (recommendation from Elijah), and it was aWesOme! Haha! Considering that it is a school programme, and that they enjoyed themselves; it was a reward by itself. Despite the language barrier (or I thought there is), we were still able to communicate! It just proved one fact: Communication is not just about words. What a beauty! :)

Just yesterday, I went online to check for the movie timings for "Secret," and realised that I had watched most of the movies! It isn't really surprising because I have been frequently at the cinema for the past 2 months, but I was amazed with the kind of finance I had to have sustained that kind of living. Haha! Amazing. Haha.

As I watched "Secret," I was amazed by the girl's persistence. She kept her belief, even though everyone around her did not support her belief (some even despise her and labelled her 'crazy'), not even her own mother supported her. What gave her the strength to hold on to what she believe is true? Was it really just love and feelings?

When people questions your experience and your belief, do you stand up for it? On what ground do you stand on? How much are you willing to sacrifice for what you believe in? She was willing to give up all that she had, and to leave everything behind without looking back. Wow. Although she ended up travelling back time to her era, when she saw what she thought was a betrayal, she still loved him.

The movie ended really nicely, and I sat there, looking at the credits, with thoughts sinking in my head. I was thinking deep. Haha! :)

If I can time travel to the past, I would want to go back to 24 December 2000. I will want to see that day, through Your eyes. ;)

Have you ever thought which is better?
Dawn or Dusk?
I like both. :)

If you have only the next 5 minutes to live, what will be the things you want to do? As in you really want to do? Actually, I have loads on my list, but if 5 minutes is all I have, I want to tell a funny joke. Haha! The best gift from my loved ones will be their smiles, and my best gift for them is the every day I lived. The joke is to keep them from crying, to remind them to smile, and live life worthwhile. :) Haha, I sound so philosophical!

I really had my fill today, with the surprise on Irvin, a slice of his cake, my chicken rice, the movie outing, my King's ice cream, McDonald's supper, and my part of the project done! Haha! Next on my schedule... (rattles on)... Oh well, time is ticking, better to make it worth than let it slip... Haha..

It's a choice my dear, you choose.

I am not going to let it hinder anymore, and recognise that life is a bed of roses. Life is filled with beauty growing on thorns. Plants grow on manure and seeds are buried in mud.

I choose to grow..I need to grow..
Taller maybe.. :) Ha-ha.

I just attended the EMERGE Talentine audtion and it was an eye-opener. :) From Song Writing Compositions to Group Performances, it showed a different standard from last year's. Ha-ha. Can you imagined that I stayed from 6p.m. to 11p.m. as a mere supporter? Ha-ha. I could not sit in the room for the entire 5 hours session because there were limited space and the performers needed their seats, but what I got to see was good enough for me. =)

I took a cab home after I left the audition, and I saw this tag line, "Smile, it cost you nothing but gives much." I was very surprised that the uncle had this up. Instead of the usual advertisements put up inside the cab, he had different kinds of hand drawn tag lines about smiling. Ha-ha. It brightened up my night!

I realised from this experience that little things like this can also make an impact in someone else's life, so never despise the little that you can do. :)

It is very dangerous for anyone to be so consumed in their own world, and their own thoughts, that they miss out the things that is happening around them. It is scary too, to know everything that is happening, and yet helpless because we know we can't do everything. How to strike a balance and a focus? To know what we ought to know, and only what we ought to know, and at the same time breakthrough into higher levels of the unknown?

(Deutronomy 29:29) He is the only answer. He will show us what we must know and guide us. Balance is when He is placed at the center of your life. A lever cannot be set up with just a plank of wood, it needs something to support its center of gravity. It must be at the center, to strike a balance. Similarly, how can life be balanced with life itself? It needs something to support its center, and He is the only way. The only solution.

Try supporting your life off somebody else's life, it will fail to establish a balance. It is like you trying to set up a lever with 2 planks of wood and expects it to remain balance with zero support. When the termites strike, both wood pieces will be consumed. Ha.

*Teach me, guide me - Your way

我们的故事 - First a You then a me

I received my results today and I cried. I was holding my dad's hand and looked at him with my eyes filled with tears. I scored a GPA of 3.17! Haha. It might not be the kind of score that people will go 'gah-gah' over, but for a 2.11 GPA scorer, it was just amazing! This was a joy that is truely beyond words. Coupled with it, truckloads of gratitude and thanks. I know, it is a miracle.

Thanks to YOU, You, You, you, you, you, you, and you! Haha! So many 'You s' I want to thank. Thank YOU... =)

"It's all in the mind."

You have a brain, so use it. You have a mind, so think. Many a times it is not that we don't want to think or lack the ability to reason. We just fail to see the importance of our decision, and the impact of those choices. Well, when it is not important, many tend to not bother. Ha! However, it is really true that, "The Choices you make Today shapes your Tomorrow." This sentence calls for a serious thought of reconsidering the value you place on your choices.

In the different events, I saw a pattern and that is, "Choices carry consequences." Whether is it good or bad, every choice carrys with them a consequence. Some are short-term whilst some has a long-term effect. For either, you cannot deny the blast they have upon your life.

I know I will not always make the right choices, but I pray that it will always be made best. I am looking to You, holding Your hand...and walking with You. :)

me pardonner, je ne comprends pas

How am I feeling now? It is really beyond words... But one thing is for sure, God is good, and this I will remember always. :)

It has been a whirling experience! Haha. So many things are happening and at such high speed! Grasp the BIGGEST news, it's holidays! Haha. I completed my Last paper of my 3 year Diploma Course on 13 February 2007 (I have no examinable modules in Year 3). :)

On 14 February, Valentine's Day, I spent it in a rather unique way. Most of the time, I was in a cab and I was going from places to places, in DIFFERENT cabs! Haha. I even got an honest confession from the 'One' who's in the cab with me, a heart-warming speech... Haha. BUT, the main highlight is the celebration with Biggie Boss at MINDS Cafe. :)

I saw his expression when looking at the video, his heartfelt speech after the video, hear his 'Wow' at the sight of the candles, his act during the song presentation and the surprised look when he saw the cushion... All these are enough to make 14 February a special day. :) Really! I am sure it was a beautiful experience for the rest of us as well. I realised something, a little silly but very true. A smile, sometimes, is the best gift to your loved ones. Haha.

I am really thankful and I am very blessed. What better way to celebrate this Day of Love but to count your blessings? Haha. I really went to count and I was overwhelmed. I was already smiling my head off before I finished counting! I am a very happy girl!~

After today's Service, I feel even more bliss! Haha. No more 'Rain' or 'Vaccination!' Haha. I am really not very good at this, but I am learning. :) Learning to let go, learning to Jiayou. Jiayou everyone!

INTERESTING NOTE:
Sorry is an attitude expressed in a 5 letter word. Without the attitude, what is left is not an expression but just words.

"I'm walking on a rope, loosely hung across the two buildings, standing 3 storeys above the deep ocean. Just one small step can be a killer and put an end to the 19 years of life. Many people wish for a breeze as they walk on the streets, but I pray not. The breath of Mother Nature is like an earthquake to me, I will crumble and fall like any building."

I yearn for an adventure like that, but my heart is weak! Ha-ha! I don't even dare to try bungee jumping, though it has been on my Things-to-Do List every year. Sometimes in life, we can identify with the above tension. When we come to a crossroad, when we need to make decisions and a wrong step can take us to the roundabout somewhere in the west.

Having my previous entry entered during Christmas Season, I want to start a new year of 2007 by saying (though it is 18 days into 2007),

"It will be a whole year of adventure! It is 007, Mr. Bond. I may not be ready, but I am on my road to Ready!"

*I have my map to READY ROAD too! The leather-backed book. =)
